'First Signs Of Spring' Diary Comic

First Signs Of Spring is the second diary comic from illustrator Emmeline Pidgen.

This full colour, 36 page comic was created as part of Hourly Comic Day 2018, a worldwide challenge to draw an illustration or small comic for each hour you are awake on February 1st - First Signs Of Spring is a collected edition of 16 hours worth of comics created on that day!

The comic captures Emmeline’s day with honest and charming accounts of nature, love, mental health, life as a freelance illustrator, and quiet, introspective moments.

Emmeline Pidgen is a comic creator and illustrator based in North West England. She has worked with clients like IDW Publishing, Egmont, Tesco and The BBC. Emmeline also won the ‘UK Freelancer of the Year’ award in 2016.

The comic debuted at The Lakes International Comic Art Festival in October 2018.
